Build conversational AI agents with WeBot
Bring your assistant instructions, knowledge and conversation settings into one workflow. Start with a clear job for the agent, then test the conversations you expect it to handle before introducing it to customers.
Define one useful job
Choose a concrete starting task such as answering questions about your service, explaining product information or collecting a customer enquiry. Write down what a successful conversation should achieve, which facts the assistant may use and when a person should take over.
Prepare reliable knowledge
Use current source material and review it for accuracy. Keep prices, eligibility conditions and operating information consistent with your business. Avoid giving the assistant broad instructions to invent answers when information is missing.
Configure and test conversations
After signing in, use the agent workspace to configure the available behaviour and conversation controls. Test ordinary questions, unclear requests and cases outside the assistant’s scope. Check how the assistant responds when it cannot answer and review its conversation evidence.
Choose your rollout carefully
Review the current plan, service access and usage settings before using an agent. Start with a limited, clearly defined workflow and improve it from observed conversations. Voice and chat capabilities depend on the selected service and configuration.
Voice agents and website chat serve different conversations
A voice agent speaks with a caller; a website chatbot exchanges written messages with a visitor. Choose the channel your customers need before preparing the agent. For voice, test names, pauses, interruptions and the opening message. For chat, test short questions, follow-up messages and how the assistant explains missing information. Use the same approved source facts across both channels.
Start with a business question you can verify
For an enquiry assistant, prepare service descriptions, operating hours, eligibility conditions and a clear next step. Ask it the questions customers actually raise, including questions that your source material cannot answer. An assistant should explain its limits and direct the visitor to a person when appropriate. Review conversations and update inaccurate source information before expanding the workflow.
