Create product image concepts for an online shop

A useful product image must still represent the item you sell. Begin with an accurate source photo when the final image needs to preserve a particular product.

Choose between a concept and an edit

Text-to-image is useful for exploring a scene, a background or a visual direction from a written brief. It does not establish the exact appearance of an existing SKU. When a product must keep its packaging, shape or label, choose a listed editing workflow that accepts a reference image and inspect its supported inputs before starting.

Prepare the brief

Use a clear photograph you have permission to upload. Describe the surface, background, camera angle and light separately from the product facts. A useful brief might ask for a neutral studio setting, soft side lighting and room for a heading. This is a prompt recipe, not evidence of a generated product result.

Check the details that affect a sale

Compare the draft with the real product. Inspect spelling, logos, colour, dimensions, connectors, accessories and reflections at normal size and close up. Reject a draft that adds an included item, changes a safety label or makes a material feature unclear. Keep an approved original available when a generated concept is unsuitable.

Publish a deliberate set

Export only the selected assets in the size and format required by the destination. Write accurate image alt text describing the visible product or scene. Keep the source, prompt and chosen settings in your own project record so the next revision starts from a known brief.
