API
WEBOT API · Video to Video
Generate from your server with your WEBOT account credits.
Use your 120-character WEBOT customer key (a–z, A–Z, 0–9). Send
Authorization: Bearer YOUR_KEY. Keys are secrets: call from a server, never from public frontend code. Results come from verified webhooks and remain saved if your stream disconnects.1. Configure your server
WEBOT_BASE_URL=https://webot.online
WEBOT_API_KEY=<your-server-side-WEBOT-key>This base URL is resolved from verified domain mappings and your direct creator reseller. Forwarded Host headers are not trusted. New custom reseller domains need DNS, TLS and platform verification before activation.
2. Quote, then generate
| Method | Endpoint | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| POST | https://webot.online/api/v1/models/luma_agent_ray_v3_2_video_to_video/quote | Validate input and calculate credits (no deduction). |
| POST | https://webot.online/api/v1/models/luma_agent_ray_v3_2_video_to_video/requests | Reserve quoted credits and queue an asynchronous job. |
| GET | https://webot.online/api/v1/models/luma_agent_ray_v3_2_video_to_video/requests/{request_id}/result | Read your saved result: 202 pending, 200 terminal. |
| GET | https://webot.online/api/v1/models/luma_agent_ray_v3_2_video_to_video/requests/{request_id}/events | Authenticated SSE: generation / terminal events. |
Send JSON {"input":{…}} to quote. Send the same input plus integer quoted_credits to generate, with Authorization: Bearer … and Idempotency-Key. Use a unique 16–128 character key per new job; persist it and reuse the same key and input on any uncertain response. Never retry with a new key: that creates a second chargeable job.
Credits are reserved only after validation and a durable request is saved. A changed quote or insufficient balance returns 409. Credits exclude purchase taxes. The quoted amount is an initial reservation. After generation, the final charge replaces it using confirmed usage. Any verified unused allocation becomes available automatically; additional usage may require more credits. Missing billing stays pending, including for failed jobs.
3. Input example
Save this as input.json. Replace sample prompts, files and media URLs with your own. Schemas do not guarantee provider acceptance of the content.

}5. Receive all results
The response includes a stable WEBOT request_id, events_url and result_url. Subscribe with a Bearer-authenticated HTTP stream. Nonterminal streams end after 25 seconds; reconnect to the same URL after at least 1.5 seconds. Current saved state is replayed immediately, including completion that happened while disconnected. A terminal event contains the result envelope. The JSON terminal flag describes generation completion. Keep reconnecting while financial_pending is true; stop after the terminal event confirms financial settlement. Never poll provider status/results. Native browser EventSource cannot send a Bearer header; keep the key on your server.
Completed output contains the full model result, including every generated media/document item, not just the first URL. Failed output is null with error and refund_state. Results are strictly limited to the key owner, including on reseller domains. Model-independent aliases: /api/v1/requests/{request_id}/result and /events. Revoking a key blocks subsequent reads and streams; saved results remain accessible with another valid key of the same account.
6. Schemas and parameter defaults
Required fields are marked with *. Required text must contain non-whitespace content. Defaults apply when an optional parameter is omitted; null, false, 0 and an empty array are distinct values. “No documented default” means WEBOT does not invent one. Examples are sample inputs, not defaults. WEBOT generation constraints can require an explicit value even when the provider publishes an automatic default.
Input schema · fields, constraints and defaults
| Parameter | Type | Required | Default when omitted | Description / constraints |
|---|---|---|---|---|
start_image_url | string | null | No | No documented default | Optional URL of an image to use as the edited video's first frame — e.g. a restyled version of the source's opening frame to steer the look of the edit. Leave unset to let the model derive the first frame from the source video. |
hdr | boolean | No | false | Generate an HDR-encoded MP4. Requires HDR access on the account and a resolution of 720p or 1080p. |
video_url | string | Yes * | No documented default | URL of the source video to edit. minLength: 1 |
edit_strength | string | null | No | No documented default | How closely the edit preserves the source video. 'adhere_*' stays closest to the source, 'flex_*' is balanced, and 'reimagine_*' diverges most. Leave unset to use Luma's default. Cannot be combined with auto_controls. |
duration | string | No | "5s" | Duration of the edited video. enum: ["5s","10s"] |
exr_export | boolean | No | false | Also export an EXR file alongside the MP4. Requires hdr=true and HDR access. |
keyframe_indexes | array | null | No | No documented default | Source-video frame positions where each keyframes[i] is anchored. Non-negative, unique, and the same length as keyframes. |
controls | object | null | No | No documented default | Per-signal conditioning controls (pose, depth, normals, trajectory, face) for finer control than edit_strength. Cannot be combined with auto_controls. |
controls.variant0.normals | object | null | No | No documented default | Surface-normals conditioning. |
controls.variant0.normals.variant0.enabled | boolean | No | true | Enable surface-normals conditioning for the edit. |
controls.variant0.normals.variant0.augmentation | number | null | No | No documented default | Surface-normals augmentation. Higher values allow more reinterpretation of surface geometry. Leave unset for the default. |
controls.variant0.trajectory | object | null | No | No documented default | Motion-trajectory conditioning. |
controls.variant0.trajectory.variant0.enabled | boolean | No | true | Enable motion-trajectory conditioning for the edit. |
controls.variant0.trajectory.variant0.sparsity | number | null | No | No documented default | Motion-trajectory sparsity. Higher values use fewer motion anchors. Leave unset for the default. |
controls.variant0.face | object | null | No | No documented default | Face-identity conditioning. |
controls.variant0.face.variant0.enabled | boolean | No | true | Enable face-identity conditioning for the edit. |
controls.variant0.depth | object | null | No | No documented default | Depth / scene-geometry conditioning. |
controls.variant0.depth.variant0.blur | number | null | No | No documented default | Depth blur. Higher values allow more geometric freedom. Leave unset for the default. |
controls.variant0.depth.variant0.enabled | boolean | No | true | Enable depth / scene-geometry conditioning for the edit. |
controls.variant0.pose | object | null | No | No documented default | Pose / skeleton conditioning. |
controls.variant0.pose.variant0.enabled | boolean | No | true | Enable pose / skeleton conditioning for the edit. |
controls.variant0.pose.variant0.strength | string | null | No | No documented default | Pose conditioning precision. 'precise' follows the source pose tightly; 'coarse' allows more freedom. Leave unset for the default. |
user | string | null | No | No documented default | Optional opaque identifier for the end user making the request. Used only for abuse attribution; never interpreted by fal. |
prompt | string | Yes * | No documented default | Text prompt describing how to edit the source video. minLength: 1 · maxLength: 6000 |
auto_controls | boolean | No | false | Let the model derive the edit conditioning schedule from the source video. Cannot be combined with edit_strength. |
resolution | string | No | "540p" | Resolution of the edited video. Higher resolutions cost more. enum: ["540p","720p","1080p"] |
keyframes | array | null | No | No documented default | Multi-keyframe edit guide frames: up to 64 image URLs pinned at the source-frame positions given by keyframe_indexes. Mutually exclusive with start_image_url. Provide keyframes and keyframe_indexes together (same length). |
enable_safety_checker | boolean | No | true | Authorized callers may set false to request relaxed screening. |

How to use Luma Ray 3.2 — Video to Video
Start with an existing video and use this model’s editing or transformation tools to change it. The exact kind of change depends on this particular endpoint.
Required inputs
- Prompt: Your instructions to the model. Say what you want, include the important details and avoid contradictory directions. For a video, describe the action as well as the scene.
- Video Url: The source video or videos. The model needs an accessible file in a supported format. Check length, resolution and audio requirements in the form before submitting.
Workflow
- Prepare your source material and fill the required inputs above. Review the supported settings for this model.
- Sign in to calculate the credit estimate. Review the estimate before choosing Generate.
- Keep this model page open while the request runs. Completed results arrive in the result area; use the available player or download controls to review the output.
When to use this workflow
- Apply the transformation described for this model.
- Use an existing clip as the starting material.
Key settings
- Prompt
- Your instructions to the model. Say what you want, include the important details and avoid contradictory directions. For a video, describe the action as well as the scene. Minimum characters: 1. Maximum characters: 6000
- Video Url
- The source video or videos. The model needs an accessible file in a supported format. Check length, resolution and audio requirements in the form before submitting. Minimum characters: 1
- Start Image Url
- The picture used to guide the beginning of the video. Choose a frame that clearly establishes the subject and scene. The exact amount of control depends on this model.
- Resolution
- The amount of detail in the output’s size. For ordinary video, 1080p has more pixels than 720p. Larger sizes can need more processing and larger files; the credit effect depends on this model. A larger output cannot guarantee better source detail. For a 3D or internal grid setting, follow the model’s specific description below. Supported choices: "540p", "720p", "1080p"
- Duration
- How long the output should last, normally in seconds. A larger value asks for a longer clip, not a sharper one. Longer duration may change the credit estimate. Use only the supported lengths; “auto”, if offered, lets the model decide under its own limits. Supported choices: "5s", "10s"
- Edit Strength
- How much influence or change is applied to the source. In many editing models, higher strength means a larger change, while lower strength keeps more of the original. Direction and scale can differ between models: check the specific description below before changing it. Supported choices: "adhere_1", "adhere_2", "adhere_3", "flex_1", "flex_2", "flex_3", "reimagine_1", "reimagine_2", "reimagine_3"
